McGrath:
Love Local, EOFY
An end-of-financial-year brand film for McGrath’s Love Local network: a year of awards, events, team days and early-morning runs, cut to the line “Together is how we grow.”
The material
Phone videos shot by the team.
Still photos and award portraits.
Event footage in every format.
The approach
Bring stills to life with image-to-video generation.
Link separate moments together.
Turn vertical clips into widescreen.
The result
One flowing, cinematic film
from a year of scattered content,
with no extra shoot.
Every moving example below is taken straight from the finished film, after the edit, so you see the AI work the way it actually plays: cut, timed and speed-ramped around the moments that work.
Into the
desert
A photo from a team event became a scene of the whole network gathered in a vast canyon, a visual for coming together that no shoot could deliver.

The award winners,
together
I used AI image generation to create a single image of all the award winners in one arrangement, then image-to-video generation to animate it so they interact with each other.

Running in
to the cover
One agent was only in a group photo. Using image-to-video generation, I had him get up, run out of the line-up and land on his own REB Top 50 Agents cover.

Award portraits
that move
The award winners’ posed portraits were supplied as stills. Each one was brought to life with image-to-video generation so the agents turn, smile and settle into the pose.

Podcast morphs,
vertical to widescreen
The podcast clips were shot vertically on phones. Each speaker morphs into the next, and the last one opens out into a full widescreen scene, with no black bars or blurred edges.

A sign, then
a house
A woman places a McGrath sign and walks towards an empty block, and the house builds itself around her.

Into the
podcast booth
From an empty event hall, the McGrath podcast booth assembles itself and the hosts take their seats. A speed ramp in the edit carries it into the next part of the story.

Selfies across
Sydney
Phone selfies from team outings were brought to life and linked, so the film flicks from one group to the next at Sydney’s scenic spots.

Morning runs to
the whole team
Phone photos of the early-morning harbour runs became moving shots. The runners carry straight into the office shoot, then into the full team gathered at the café: separate moments joined into one run.
